Albums for 2013

Interesting albums for 2013.

Live to release their first album since 2006 and this time with new lead singer Chris Shinn (Unified Theory) who replaced Ed Kowalczyk. I guess this has divided the fans into 2 camps.

Queensryche is writing new material with their new frontman Todd La Torre (Crimson Glory) while former lead singer Geoff Tate continue to tour as Queensryche starring Geoff Tate, but without the original band of course. Confusing to say the least.

Skillet has written 60 songs for their new album and will start recording in October, it´s been 3 years since their latest effort "Awake". Could be massive.

Christian modern rock band Red is working with producer Howard Benson on their 4th album that will be released in February. Did anyone say huge?

30 Seconds To Mars is currently recording their 4th album where one of the songtitles is "Witness", Jared Leto will work with other artists on their new album. A safe buy no matter what.

Bob Ezrin is producing the new album with legendary rock band Deep Purple, their first album in 8 years. Perhaps they should call it "Hail to the LORD".

Thin Lizzy with their new line up of Ricky Warwick - Vocals, Scott Gorham - Guitar, Darren Wharton - Keyb, Brian Downey - Drums, Damon Johnson - Guitar and Marco Mendoza will release their first album without Phil Lynott. Flip or flop?

Scorpions is doing just what Van Halen did, they are digging up old leftovers from the early 80´s and will record them for their 18th studio album. Sounds positive to me.
