SIX HOUR SUNDOWN have taken their time to get things just right prior to setting their first track free in to the public domain.
The dynamic front woman of this band is none other than Lauren Harris who has already cut her teeth in the business touring the World with Iron Maiden, playing some of the biggest venues and festivals on the planet.
As a taster from the forthcoming album, Jekyll & Hyde demonstrates SIX HOUR SUNDOWN’s ability to blur the boundaries of musical genres with edgy modern Rock riffs, driven by a solid rhythm section and topped of by a contemporary melody lines, delivered by a vocalist who puts her heart on the line with every performance.
Taking influence from bands such as The Foo Fighters, 30 Seconds to Mars & Velvet Revolver, SIX HOUR SUNDOWN are very much a band that lives for the stage.

Rock and roll heroes - Budgie
Although, the Welsh hard rock band Budgie never got the same success as Black Sabbath, they were just as heavy back in the early 70´s where their albums "Budgie" (1971), "Never turn your back on a friend" (1973), "In for the kill" (1974) and "Power supply" (1980) are heavy metal classics. Budgie has influenced huge bands like Metallica and Iron Maiden.
Budgie took a more melodic direction with the 1982 album "Deliver us from evil" where the die hard fans didn´t approve at all but this is a great album, highly underrated. It deserves to be re-released and remastered on CD.
The core of the band is made up of Burke Shelley - Bass/Lead Vocals and Steve Williams - Drums (1974-present), and lots of guitarists have been in Budgie but some of the most important ones are Tony Bourge (1971-1978), John Thomas (1979-1982), Simon Lees on the 2006 album You´re all living in Cuckooland and he was replaced by Craig Goldy from Dio in 2008. The albums "Squawk" (1972), "Bandolier" (1975), "If I were Brittania, I´d waive the rules" (1976) and the latest album "You´re all living in cuckooland" are all good stuff.
Only 2 albums doesn´t match the rest and they are the weak "Impeckable" from 1978 and the poor "Nightflight" (1981) that failed to follow up the massive "Power supply.Friday, February 17, 2012

After winning a Battle of the Bands, Vaudeville was given the opportunity to record their debut album 'Dismantle The Sky' in Nashville. The disc captures the band's energy and unique sound, solidifying them as a force in the Minneapolis music scene. Sky Architects is a unique band from Denmark, their first independent release came out in 2008 which was followed by the Reflection EP in 2010.
Sky Architects are influenced by everything from Metal to Jazz to Balkan music and all the way to cliché filled power ballads from the 80's. They call their music as doom pop. Their international debut "The promise of tomorrow" is produced by Hatesphere frontman Jacob Bredahl and it will be released on May 5th.
