Time for an update
The British rock band A released their latest album "Teen dance ordinance" in 2005 but has reunited in 2011 and are currently in the studio recording new tracks. Singer Jason Perry is describing the new songs as The Police meets Janes Addiction with a touch of Rush.Mighty interesting!
I found this excellent b-side from the HiFi Serious sessions called "Champions of endings" that you can download here: www.mediafire.com/?3qid6l1wm4bhxrl
I went over to Human Cometh guitarist Morgan Pettersson´s home studio the other day and listened to his brand new song "Mayan Logic" featuring their new singer Eric Johns and it sounds terrific, Morgan gets better and better every day with his songwriting and the guitar playing is just brilliant. Eric sings really well and has a different voice compared to mine.Beware of new music soon. Big rock ladies and gents!
In other news I can announce that physical copies of HCII will be available in late August.
Tricked out is a Cheap Trick tribute from Fastlane Records that never was released with artists like Plunge, London Calling, Supermint, The Way, Crash Kelly, The Millions, Bang the union and Marc Danzeisen that you can listen to his version of "Takin me back" at:www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Hm_x8EYAMo
Sammy Hagar - Red, ACDC - Maximum rocknroll, Kiss - Behind the mask, Marilyn Manson - The long hard road out of hell, Fleetwood Mac - Never break the chain, Ozzy - I am Ozzy, Anthony Kiedis - Scar tissue and Iron Maiden - Run to the hills.
I wasn´t too keen on reading Nikki Sixx´s The heroin diaries, too much drugs and not that much talk about music.
I am thinking of sinking my teeth into the books Steven Tyler - Does the noise in my head bother you and Eric Clapton - Clapton.
