Uriah Heep! Just as legendary as Deep Purple and Black Sabbath but never gets the same recognition I´m afraid. Mick Box is still alive and kicking with the same line up for the past 20 years except for the drummer, and keep releasing new records which is impressive after all these years.
The Pete Goalby albums Abominog, Head First and Equator from the 80´s is my favorite era of the band. But also the wonderful "Wake the sleeper" from 2008 is just as good as their early work.
The band has released plenty of good music too that might not touch their classic albums but they´re all worth checking out, Uriah Heep presented several different singers on these albums and all were good such as John Wetton, John Lawton and John Sloman.
3 disappointments from the band, all with Bernie Shaw on lead vocals. I haven´t listened that much to these albums mostbly because the songs doesn´t move me at all.
