The German metal monsters Rammstein is without doubt one of the best modern bands the last 2 decades, there is not a single filler on the 3 killer albums "Sehnsucht", "Mutter" and "Reise Reise". Holy smoke!
Their latest album "Liebe ist fur alle da" is too new to be considered a classic but it has every possibility of becoming one with songs that easily match the albums above.
Their debut is where Rammstein put the trademark of their unique sound, this is the start of techno metal the German way. Good music that is cool to check out every now and then when you get tired of "Du hast".
The 2005 album "Rosenrot" might have the most beautiful artwork of the year but the music didn´t the reach the level we´re used to hear from this gigantic band.
The expression power trio couldn´t be more suitable when it comes to Canadian band Triumph!
The 1986 album "The sport of kings" didn´t sound like the typical Triumph record with hard rock riffs but leaned more towards AOR and never was as popular by the fans as their early stuff. This is truly an underrated album with lots of great songs like "Somebody´s out there", "Just one night" and "Tears in the rain".
As proof of their really high "low" level when it comes to songwriting, any hardrock band would die to have their names on albums like "Progressions of power", "Allied forces", "Never surrender" and "Surveillance". Wow!
Their last studio album from 1992 was recorded without guitarist/singer Rik Emmett and is also their weakest record, not so bad really because Triumph never release any crap but it´s not the same without Emmett.
