Rock and roll heroes - Judas Priest

Judas Priest are true metal gods and with these classic albums, the band delivered plenty of majestic metal songs where "Victim of changes" is one of the best metal songs ever written in my opinion.
Rob Halford, KK Downing, Glenn Tipton and Ian Hill have always been the core of the band with several different drummers in the line up such as Scott Travis, Dave Holland, Les Binks, Simon Phillips and John Hinch.

The 1981 album "Point of entry" isn´t considered to be a classic JP album but the songs on this truly underrated album are way too good to be included on the "Good stuff" feature on this page.
Listen to it again and you will understand why. Impressive!

JP has had a long career where the albums of "Rocka rolla", "Screaming for vengeance", "Defenders of the faith", "Turbo", "Ram it down", "Painkiller" and "Angel of retribution" are all good stuff. If you want your share of great heavy metal, then this is the place to look.

Then there´s the minor funny part of this band, when Ripper Owens replaced Rob Halford on "Jugulator" and "Demolition". Some people say they´re not so bad, I say they are. But the worst album is the latest joke "Nostradamus" where JP wanted to be epic, it was only sad not at least to say terrible.
